I spend a little time in Norway helping a mate write some songs. If he wonders where the musical talent comes from I can tell him. Norwegians are some of the most musical people I have ever encountered. They have an appreciation for the music and Lyric that has been forgotten in a lot of our modern society. I do the same thing as he talks about out riding colts and fixing fences, it's the most creative place to be. But just the same I struggle to remember it, I can't always stop to write it down. Great listen and so many parallels with myself and other poets I know.

Great job you two! Andy, you and DW are two very special people! And to think I would not have met either of you had it not been for cowboy poetry. What a great world we live in. Keep up the great work, both of you and I hope to see ya'll down the trail soon!

Absolutely love this interview with D.W.! I spent a brief time on a ranch just over the mountains to the east of his area. It surely is beautiful country. Keep up the great work Andy and I look forward hearing more of your work and more podcasts as well!
