Great job on the interview, Andy.Ian is one of my all time favorites.I’m glad to see some of the old stories get recorded before they’re blown away by the winds of time. I really enjoyed it!

Loved the poem "We never rode the Judiths" at the beginning of the episode. Had to laugh at Ian's continuing battles for acceptance - in his early days as a folkie, it was with the "progressive" politicals who ran the Folk Festivals and now it seems it's with the purist folklorists, for whom Ian is too much the professional musician to be accepted as a purist..."you just can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself", as Rick Nelson has sung...

Love the poem. Rings true. My horses are always growing older faster I can keep up with. It won't be long before I catch up with them.

Saw Ian many times at the East Longview Hall and was fortunate enough to take my mum and dad who were great fans. Such a great show he puts on, so relaxed, so comfortable a performer and performance. Makes you feel like you are wrapped in your favourite blanket and tucked in and safe.

Ian has been a mainstay of my rambling life! Always terrific to listen to the lyrics and tunes that his mind creates and his voice game body to.....a true love of mine....

The best concert ever was in San Diego with Ian and Corb Lund. It was in the church as mentioned in " riding shotgun with Blaino". I also covered him as a news photographer at the PNE in Vancouver. There is no one better, plus being Canadian makes me partial to his abilities.
